Cleo, Jungle Cat

We gave this painting as a gift to friends of ours who live here in Costa Rica. The main subject is Cleo, their elderly Abyssinian cat that they brought with them from Canada.

I used bright colours and foliage found in Costa Rica to frame the cat and bring a sense of this beautiful country into the painting along with their beloved pet.
