Breakaway

This wild bronc has just bucked his rider, and with white, rolling eyes charges up and out, trying to break away from the loose circle of mounted cowboys around him.

Seeing another cowboy in front of him, he rises up on his haunches with a whinny – but the watchful cowboys will soon grab his harness and bring him back under control.

“Breakaway” was accepted into the 2010 Art of The West Show and Sale, Kamloops, British Columbia.
