In The Moo’d

Two brown, shaggy-haired cows peer inquisitively with their deep, wide-set eyes at the viewer in this classic farmyard painting.Their white muzzles, alert ears, and downturned mouths almost seem to question why a human has entered their domain at all!

A backdrop of turquoise-blue sets off the color of their hair perfectly, which in turn highlights the bright white hairs sprouting from around their noses and mouths.

“In The Moo’d” was awarded Second Place at the 2010 American Society of Bovine Artists’ Show and Sale, Gruene, Texas.

This painting was accepted into the 2010 Art of The West Show and Sale, Kamloops, British Columbia.
