A dark blue-black bull stands powerfully and silently, slowly chewing his cud with his massive head held forward.

Behind him a light brown heifer, much smaller, leans against his haunches, enjoying the closeness and temporary relief from the ever-buzzing flies which stay clear of his swishing tail.

The ground beneath them is golden, baked dry in the late summer sun, with blue skies and pastel clouds floating above. There’s no doubt that both of these creatures are looking forward to the coolness of the evening ahead.
